Question 1

How much does an occasion caricature cost?

Accepted Answer

Prices for an occasion caricature from JediPic start from $14.99 for one person or pet, drawn head and shoulders. A waist-up or a full-body drawing with a background costs more, and every extra person or pet adds to the price, so a couple, a family or a group costs more than a single portrait. The listing shows an estimate as you choose; JediPic confirms the final price after reviewing your request, and nothing is charged until you approve it.

Question 2

What photo works best for an occasion caricature?

Accepted Answer

One clear, well-lit photo per person or pet, with the face easy to see and nothing covering it. A relaxed expression and a little space around the head give the artist the most to work with. For anything else you want in the picture — the occasion itself, from the cake and the cap to the tree and the wedding rings — add a reference photo or describe it in the order notes; the drawing is made from what you send.

Question 3

How long does an occasion caricature take?

Accepted Answer

Each occasion caricature is drawn by hand after your request is approved, so allow the processing time shown on the listing, most often 3–5 business days. When it is ready, the high-resolution file is added to your order and you get an email to download it. If you need it by a certain date, order with that time in mind; there is no shipping to add on top.

Question 4

Can the artist add personal details to an occasion caricature?

Accepted Answer

Yes. That is the point of an occasion caricature: describe what you want in the picture — the occasion itself, from the cake and the cap to the tree and the wedding rings — in the order notes, and the artist builds the scene around it. Personal touches — a favourite hobby, a pet, a uniform or an in-joke — turn a likeness into a gift that gets talked about. Keep the request specific and send a reference photo for anything that has to look exact.

Question 5

What exactly do I receive, and how do I print it?

Accepted Answer

You receive a high-resolution digital file, not a physical print: it is added to your order, and you get an email when it is ready to download. Print it at home on photo paper, send it to any print shop or online printer for a framed piece or a canvas, or use it as a card front, a social profile picture or a phone wallpaper. Nothing is posted, so there is no shipping fee and no parcel to wait for.

Question 6

Who is an occasion caricature a good gift for?

Accepted Answer

An occasion caricature suits anyone who wants a gift that is about the moment, not just the face. It works for birthdays, graduations, weddings, anniversaries, retirements and Christmas, and for the moments when a bought gift feels generic. Because the drawing is built from your own photo and your own details, it is personal by default, and because it is a digital file there is no parcel to wait for.
