JediPic does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws define sale, sharing, or targeted advertising more broadly; where those rules apply, JediPic honors the controls, notices, and requests required for that activity.
1. Controller and privacy contact
JediPic operates the service that processes personal data through JediPic pages, accounts, Gift Rooms, saved ideas, support routes, and admin systems. For the affiliate-first launch, privacy requests use email as the current route. Send privacy questions and rights requests to [email protected]. Include the account email, relevant page URL, and enough context for us to verify and route the request.
2. Data we collect
We may collect account details, saved ideas, Gift Room activity, History and browsing activity, search activity, device information, support messages, cookie preferences, partner-link interaction data, affiliate attribution records, security logs, and admin or moderation records.
3. Why we use data
We use data to keep you signed in, remember preferences, save ideas, power Gift Rooms, improve recommendations, prevent abuse, attribute partner referrals, respond to support requests, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and understand which features are working.
4. Legal bases where required
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, JediPic may rely on contract or pre-contract necessity to provide account and planning features; legitimate interests to secure, improve, debug, measure, and protect the service; consent for optional cookies or marketing where required; and legal obligations for security, tax, dispute, rights-request, or compliance records.
5. Gift Rooms and collaboration
Gift Room names, saved ideas, comments, collaborators, and activity may be visible to people who have access to that room. Do not place passwords, payment details, health information, government IDs, or unrelated sensitive private information in room content.
6. History, Favorites, and planning state
Recently viewed products, Favorites, and room activity help you return to ideas and organize planning. Some History data may live on your device; account-level saved ideas may remain until you remove them, close the account, or request deletion where applicable.
7. Partner links and affiliate attribution
When you click a partner link, the destination shop or affiliate network may receive referral information and may process your activity under its own policy. JediPic does not control partner checkout and does not receive your partner-site payment card details from standard affiliate handoffs.
8. Service providers and AI features
We share data with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, email, operate AI features, maintain JediPic, and measure affiliate handoffs. Providers may process data only for the services they provide to us. AI features may process prompts, room context, product metadata, or support questions to produce recommendations or routing.
9. Retention and security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect accounts and platform data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. We retain data only as long as needed for service, legal, security, support, analytics, affiliate attribution, dispute, and legitimate business records.
10. International transfers
JediPic and its service providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where transfer rules apply, we use appropriate safeguards such as contracts, provider terms, and other lawful transfer mechanisms available for the service.
11. Your choices and rights
You can update account details, manage cookie preferences, clear local History, remove saved ideas, and request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or other rights where applicable. Where a local privacy law gives you the right to complain to a supervisory authority, you may do so in your jurisdiction.
